GRU Lecturers visits Latvia for a conference
Riga, the capital of Latvia, hosted an international conference on "Sustainable Tourism" between 26-27th of September. This important event brought together experts from the world about the sustainable tourism.
Tourism Faculty academic Dr. Yunus Emre Genç, Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator Lect. Zafer Sak and Deputy Coordinator Ahmet Mullaoğlu represented the Giresun University at the conference.
After the opening ceremony of the Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina, many important speeches and presentations were made. Especially Lecturer Dr. Yunus Emre Genç's contributions were pointed out and he was honored with the "loyalty" award.
The conference played an important role as a platform to discuss the latest developments and innovations in sustainable tourism.
